Anu Chaudhary is an internationally recognized leader in sustainability and climate action, with over 25 years of experience spanning low carbon technologies, corporate sustainability, climate risk, social impact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Over the course of her career, she has worked with governments, multilateral bodies, non-governmental organizations and the private sector across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas — including the United Nations (Germany), the American National Accreditation Board (USA), and the Gold Standard Foundation (Switzerland).
She began her career in North America helping large automotive and manufacturing companies minimize their environmental impact, spent more than a decade in the Climate Action & Sustainability practice at DNV Europe and later led the Corporate Sustainability function at Tata Technologies. In 2016, she founded SustainPlus, one of India’s pioneering sustainability and climate consulting firms, serving clients across India, Europe, the Middle East and the USA. Today, she is a Founding Partner & Global Head of Sustainability & Climate Action at Uniqus Consultech, where she leads the firm’s global advisory and technology practice and co-created ESG Universe — a digital platform for GHG accounting, sustainability disclosures and sustainable supply chain transformation.
Anu’s deep expertise lies in Decarbonization and Climate Risk, guiding corporates, investors, and institutions in designing net-zero strategies, aligning with frameworks such as TCFD, building risk resilience & adaptation strategies and preparing for emerging regulatory landscapes including CSRD, IFRS S1/S2, RBI climate guidelines and SEC proposals. She also advises boards and leadership teams on embedding sustainability into long-term business strategy and risk management.
Her contributions have been widely recognized. She has received several prestigious honors, including the CII Women Corporate Leadership Award for ESG, recognition among the Most Influential Sustainability Leaders of India, and the Sheroes Award for exemplary work in Sustainability. She has also been featured in the British High Commission’s publication on Top Women Leaders driving the UN SDGs, as well as in SheMaker for her advocacy of women in leadership and DEI in manufacturing.
