Ashish is a Deals Partner and leads the Debt & Special Situations offering for Grant Thornton in India. He is a Chartered Accountant and qualified Insolvency Professional with over 29 years of professional experience. He also heads the Eastern region practice for the Firm.

He has substantial experience in offering debt advisory services, financial and operational restructuring, interim management, M&A, due diligence, post-merger integration as well as advising on insolvency and liquidation matters including cross-border.

Ashish has led engagements across India on behalf of several large public and private credit institutions and ARCs such as SBI; ICICI; ARCIL, ACRE, Edelweiss, Varde and ARES. He has advised financial investors and trade buyers with focus on companies on special situation transactions and restructuring solutions.

He is a member of INSOL International and sits on or chairs various expert committees or councils including FICCI, CII and ICC. Ashish is also a YPO International member.
