Dr. Arvind Ananthanarayanan is the Fund Manager of the Tristar Fund at ValueQuest, a private equity strategy targeting aerospace, defence, energy transition and advanced manufacturing platforms.

He earned his PhD in Physics from the University of Mumbai and the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), where he spent over 15 years leading research in nuclear waste immobilisation and reprocessing. Following his doctorate, Dr. Arvind completed postdoctoral research at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands, enhancing his expertise in advanced materials and applied energy systems.

He brings a rare blend of deep scientific training and practical sector insight across strategic industries, energy policy and complex manufacturing systems.
