Manish has over 20 yrs. of experience in venture capital and private equity across India and North America. He has personally led US$ 850 Million of investments in India and across the US-India corridor. Manish has participated in 3 full private equity investment cycles across India, USA, and has a nuanced lens to the craft of private investing and fund management.

He is currently the Co-founder & Partner of WaterBridge Ventures, an India based home-grown early-stage VC firm with US$ 250 Million AUM. His investments at WaterBridge include leading start-ups like Atlan, Bijnis, CityMall, Chalo, Magicpin, Nymble, PocketPills, and Unacademy. Earlier he has been in senior investment roles at Rho Ventures (North America), Actis Capital (South Asia), and Director for Providence Equity Partners with a focus on India & SE Asia. Prior to a 2 decade career in the alternatives industry, Manish has held operating roles (tech, product marketing) in the telecom and tech sectors with Ciena (through acquisition of Cyras), Nortel and Infosys.

Manish is an active member of entrepreneurship and investing networks such as TiE (Delhi NCR, Bangalore), Stanford Angels. Most recently, as a member of IVCA VC Council, he has helped design and lead educational, ecosystem building initiatives like VC101. He is passionate about ‘India building for Bharat’ and ‘India building for the world’ opportunities.

Manish graduated with a B.Tech from IIT Delhi and an MBA from Stanford University (Graduate School of Business).
