He has experience of 29 years in development banking, across all aspects of finance and development, including Corporate Credit (SMEs as well as large corporates), Micro Credit, Digital Lending, Cross-border Development Finance, Institutional Credit, Treasury & Resource Mobilization, Liability Management, Venture Finance, IT, HRM, enterprise-wide Risk Management, Compliance and Strategy formulation, Promotional & Developmental activities, and ecosystem development.

Before joining SIDBI, he had a 26-year stint in India Exim Bank, where he held several key positions including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.

He is a B-Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
